Wishing for Non Smoking Days

Wishing for a non smoking day ahead?  It is not easy to conceive at the beginning of a smoking quit, that you can actually achieve this wish, but it is a matter of decisive action and nothing more.  Wishing for a new car, a new job or a new baby is something that most people try and succeed at, but a quit can be a hard process to find success.  It surely does not have to be that way, as a quit smoking pledge is more than wishing into the wind, it is a  new beginning, and actually an awareness that you are in fact a non smoker all along.

Wishing for a Non Smoking Day Ahead

Thinking about your health, and finding that you are not as healthy or as sure about your future as you would like as a smoker, is a hard place to be.  For sure, the addiction of nicotine is a tricky part of this solution, but keep your mind away from your decision.  Logic will enforce your wishing soul into action, as nicotine only stays in your body for up to 10 days.  After that, it isn’t the chemical, it is gone, it is your complex and non helpful mind creating the void of a smoking brain.  The best way to describe this is, is you are wishing for a non smoking life, and you begin to see that you may only wish about it. The obstacle is too high for you to achieve.  But don’t let that part of your mind lose the hope.  The wishing is not just a fairy tale, it is actually the first step in your quit!

Wishing for a Quit

Quitting smoking is a thought at first, and then eventually a commitment.  You begin to take each day one at at time, working through the chemical addiction.  Don’t let the thoughts of chemical addiction become lost with your smoking mind.    When you are wishing for a non smoking life, you are beginning on a new path.  Take up the task with enthusiasm and hope.  Try the wishing part with your loved ones, and see if they can help you with some great motivation.  Find a time in your day to see the wish of being the non smoker you know you are, and envision it.  Don’t let your sneaky smoking brain dissuade you from the quit, or the start of the quit.

Wishing outlasts the smoking brain

Eventually, your wishing brain will out strip your smoking brain with reason and calm.  It does take some time, and some power on your part.  It is not easy to encompass and see your wishing brain thrust into reality.  But it can happen.  With the constant force of you envisioning your wishing brain as a non smoker, the non smoker you already are, this can become your new awareness.  Sometimes a friend who has done this can be a real positive motivator, and sometimes a fully engulfed smoker friend can help you see the health risks of smoking.  For once, allow your self to find wishing for your quit to come true.

Will Chantix Help Your Quit Smoking Pledge?

You hear from your friends, family and doctor that Chantix can help your quit smoking pledge, but will Chantix Help you with quit smoking?  Isn’t it like a substitute, which will just be another drug and crutch in your smoking?  Or do you think it will really be effective, and you are ready to try it?  It is effective for most, and it makes sense for many reasons.

Will Chantix Help Your Cravings

The chantix drug works by stopping the pleasure feelings your brain creates when you smoke, and the answer is yes it will help your cravings.  Craving a cigarette is close to craving fatty or sweet food, a gambling bet, a shopping excursion, or a drug that you are addicted to.  It is a craving that you can’t shake, and one that always results in another puff.  It is a section of your brain, that has become addicted to nicotine, but also, finds nicotine pleasurable.  The reality is, when you turn off this pleasure center, and start a new path of blocking nicotine from being the pleasure center in your brain, your cravings will disappear to a degree.  The physical part of your smoking craving is defined by your brain’s receptors.  In this way, will chantix help your cravings?  The answer is yes it will help.

Will Chantix Help My Food Addictions

One reason that people seem to not want to quit smoking, is they believe that they will substitute the craving of a smoke for a craving of sweet or salty food.  It is fairly common, but most new non-smokers, are not craving foods, just a new pleasure to satiate the pleasure parts of your brain. When you are on Chantix, you have satiated the pleasure receptors, so you will feel no real urgency to start eating instead of smoking.  The pleasure of addiction is quite solved, or at least goes from an urgency of a 10 to a 3 or 4.  You still will have memory cravings, but these are not physical cravings.

Will Chantix Help My Moods

One reason you are moody as a smoker, is the constant yin and yang of thinking about not having a smoke.  It is really a bummer lifestyle, as you are constantly having to experience panic over running out of smoking, or not finding a lighter.  The ups and downs are really hard for anyone to manage with your constant emotional ups and downs as well.  Moody feelings are helped by Chantix, because you see that your physical need to appease the pleasure gods is managed, and you have supplies of the drug to do this on a constant basis.  At the beginning, you are a managed non-moody person, because you are on a managed state of not feeling deprived of physical pleasure reception.  It is silly, but it works.

Will Chantix help your smoking cessation plan succeed?  Only you and your doctor can decide if Chantix is right for you, and your quit smoking pledge.  Find out by visiting your doctor to see if you can realize a new life, a new way forward, and your own quit smoking medication path.  Will Chantix help can only be answered by you, the new non-smoker.

Quit Smoking Now and Forever with Love

When you are considering your quit smoking pledge, you will need to consider your life now and how you envision it in the future for you to begin success with your quit, and actually quit smoking now.  Not only do you need to envision and reflect, but those who love you need to help you see the future ahead and ponder the past with clarity.  Often, we remember our past and see our present in a very different way than our loved ones have experienced these moments in time.

Love can conquer all and lead you towards your day to Quit Smoking Now

Quit Smoking Now with Help from Your Love

Why not bring your friends and family into your quit smoking pledge?  They will keep you comforted during your time of change and bring you forward into your new future so that you find your feet during the change of lifestyle.  There is no reason to hide from those that you love, as they will be so honored to find time to bring you stories, memories and photos of the time you were a non-smoker.  When you were little, and you had the world in your grasp, before nicotine had fought to capture you, you had life leading you in a happy and positive new way.  All of these experiences have been lost to your smoking days.  When you recapture those memories, you can get them back and push your future into the direction you are entitled to live.  There is no reason you need to continue your smoking days, when you have made the decision to quit smoking now.

Listen to your families stories, and envision yourself as you were, when you were actually a non-smoker.  You were not born a smoker, so those days before your smoking, were different.  Imagine waking up, not having one thought about what you had to do, just a wide array of choices, of fun and creative things you may want to try and do.  Your life was just beginning, and you could be anything!  Your education was just beginning in life, and you could try to become anything that looked good to you.  The days were open, and you were not stuck with being caught up in smoking.

Another way to envision yourself as a non-smoker, is find a picture of yourself before you began smoking.  You can see from the picture, all the things that you were before you began your dance with nicotine.  Your mind was not captured by the constant need to fill the nicotine monster, but you were able to always see the new things you may want to try, and pursue as a happy person.  The smoker in you is unable to move forward quickly, as you are constantly having to break for nicotine, keep cigarettes in supply, and fill your smoking need.

Quit Smoking Now not Later

Relying on those you love, and who love you, can be a great way to envision that yes, you were indeed a non-smoker.  Now, take a present day picture, you as a compulsive smoker, and  compare this view to the non-smoker you were.  The fact is, the longer you smoke, the more you are moving in a destructive path for your life goals.  Begin again, and commit yourself to quit smoking now, and do it today!  Don’t set a date, take the plunge and you will be so glad you did find your strength, and quit smoking now versus later when life has passed you by!

Your time has come to Quit Smoking Now

I sometimes think a planned date can begin you into your smoking quit, but when you are really ready, why wait for a date?  It is silly when you have committed to yourself, and found your non-smoking brain once again.  The day is really not going to be the same for everyone, and sometimes, you have a start non-smoking epiphany on the last moment of the day, and decide then and there you are once again a non-smoker!

The reason the quit works in this case, is you have the resolution to make your quit smoking now decision a reality.

Your Decision to Quit Smoking

quit smoking by breaking the cigaretteOur minds are powerful things, and can change the path that we follow with our initial decision each and every day.  We can decide when we are going to wake, eat and what we are going to do each day.  We decide how we can rest and relax, and react to the stress in our lives.

True Decisions Come with Living in the Moment

If you have lived with smoking for years, chances are you are ready for a change.  The fear of the decision sometimes will keep you from following through with the decision, but it does not have to be like that.  The best decision you can make, is the one that is the hardest, and quitting smoking is a good decision.

Without the ability to live in the present, you will often digress and think about the past in ways that you do not need in your quest to move into a new life.  In order to become the best person you have envisioned, you need to forgive your past life decisions, and let them disappear.  This step, is very important.  When you constantly keep your mind in the past, and think about the past in this way, and never forgive yourself and others for things that pain you, you are not living in the now.  You are always stuck in the past.

Too many people are stuck in the past.  They never get a chance to move into the present.  This keeps them always remembering the regrets, the anger, the sadness and the past anxieties.  The past is the present for these poor souls.  Without a transition, there is never a step forward into the future.  You are always living in the past, and not evolving forward into the future.

If you are moving in this past, you cannot do any new lifestyle changes.  If you want to lose weight, you will not do it until you forgive your past, and move into a lovely new present day and time.  The most amazing part of this process is you have a momentum that will allow you to change your lifestyle with a smoking quit that will never end.

The best quit starts with a change of time perception, and happiness in the present time and moment.  When you forgive yourself for every little thing that happened in the past, you can move forward to find your life into a great new way of life.  Your life is waiting for your evolution into the present, and the step you can make to become the best new life you have always dreamed of.

Quit with the Presence of Now and for Yourself

If you are quitting to make someone happy in your life, or at your doctors advice alone, and really are not convinced that a quit smoking pledge is your best option, you will not succeed at your quit.  You can be unselfish, and try to do it for your family or friends, but really the only person you need to quit for, is in fact, yourself and yourself alone.  The reason that many quits start and end, is because the mission of the quit really resides with another loved one or another suggestion from a health care provider.

True, the positive and motivational help from family and friends can be very important, but you really do not need anyone’s support to succeed in your quit.  Even if you are in a group of smokers, and they all think you are crazy if you and you alone want to quit, you will succeed.  The motivation does not come from anyone else.  If you believe that you are a non-smoker, and have only been on a path of smoking temporarily, you can find your quit and make it stick.

Your decision needs to be firm, and yours alone.  It takes a mountain of resolution to get through the first 14 days, but you can do it.  The physical aspects of nicotine will drop out of your life easily and quickly, but you do not have to be saddened by any of the hardship you may feel during these tempting days, as your resolution to quit, is with you, and it is important for you to stick with the path you have decided to follow.

Remaining resolute and firm with your quit is all in your stubborn and dedicated decision of yourself.  If you are not sure, even 1%, you will have a real challenge.  Do not start your quit, until you are certain, and certain by 100% that you will be successful.  You need to ensure yourself that you are really ready to remain in the present, and change for today.

Garish pictures and stories never work

Being a smoker, you know what I am speaking of, the terrible pictures of people who have missing jaw lines, horrible teeth, ugly photos of the burial plot, and even brown lungs. The photos of these eventual results of smoking, do not help smokers quit. It only makes them smoke more.

Why? It is truly a logical approach to help smokers, but really, it only stresses a smoker out more. Have you felt like you needed to smoke more, when you saw these pictures or heard these stories? Of course you did!

The reasons are part of your long term progression to becoming a non-smoker. The stress you feel, is part of the stress of even considering a quit. It is a powerful stop for most smokers. The panic feeling, the sweaty palms, the reality that it really could happen, make most smokers really scared, and unsure if they can do this.

Become a Non-smoker Once again when Your Quit is Solid

Do not quit.  I am here to tell you, you can smoke as much as you want, until you can beat this real feeling of panic and stress.  You can even smoke more, if that helps.  I want you to make sure you smoke.  OK?

Now, next step, is realize that your smokes, pipe or chew is really available, and you do not have to worry about it disappearing.  You have some time to work through the emotions of your quit.  It is going to be important that you do not make your cigarettes or nicotine form become powerful or valuable to you.  Make sure you understand that you have it, and it is there for you.  You are not losing anything.

Whew.  Now, we can begin the process of thinking about the reality of your new life ahead.  It is not a stop, not a end, but a beginning!  Truly, there are two addictions you must work through, the nicotine addiction and the beliefs you have built by being a smoker.  The nicotine addiction is strong at first, but even larger, is how you justify smoking.

In order to quit, you need to really want to quit, and to begin a new life.  Until you do, keep smoking.  You will get there eventually!

Smart People Who Smoked

When you think about smart people, really smart people, do you think of scientists and physicians? Physics professors and economic masters? I think we all have greatness in ourselves, and if we tap into the open parts of our minds, we can accomplish anything. I mean anything.

In order to ensure that any new initiative will be completed, you must find it within yourself before you decide to act on it. This is an important part to the new idea, it must be within your being, your truth, and your experience for this idea to grow and prosper.

If you are starting a new life, will you give up within the first week?  Why not move forward with the steps, and take each challenge as another step towards your objective? It will be important for you to find that greatness that you already own, and let it grow.
